Nam Thanh Commune's Spring Festival Camp Celebrating the Party and the Spring

Over three days (February 6-8), Nam Thanh commune, Lam Dong province, organized the "Celebrating the Party and the Spring Festival" camp in 2026. The camp included 14 camps with 350 participants from 14 schools, 25 villages, and 3 People's Credit Funds located in the commune.

Certificates of merit were awarded to sub-camps with outstanding achievements.

Nam Thanh - Sa Lem sub-camp received certificates of merit for their participation in folk games.

The lively camp featured four traditional games: tug-of-war, stick pushing, sack racing, and lemon passing. There was also a cooking competition and camp judging, a cultural performance program, a bonfire, and a visit to booths showcasing OCOP products and other local specialties.

A wide variety of culinary competitions

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the camp, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Thanh Commune, Doan Cong Hoa, said: Throughout the camp, thanks to the close coordination of agencies, units, the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations, and especially the enthusiastic participation of more than 10,000 people who came to visit and cheer, the camp was held safely, joyfully, economically and in a spirit of unity.
