A lineup of famous artists performed at the opening ceremony.
The first Spring Fair in 2026 will take place from February 2nd to 13th at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC). This is a national-level trade promotion event, the opening of a series of annual national fairs, and a key highlight in the activities to stimulate consumer demand, develop the domestic market, and promote Vietnamese brands during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, fostering investment, trade, and cultural connections.
The Spring Fair is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with other ministries, departments, localities, and relevant agencies and units, under the direction of the Government.

The exhibition space at the Exhibition Center is modernly designed, with convenient transportation, ample parking, and enhanced free bus services for visitors. The Organizing Committee expects to welcome over 100,000 visitors per day, demonstrating the special appeal of a national-scale cultural and commercial event.
With the theme "Connecting for Prosperity - Welcoming a Glorious Spring," the 2026 Spring Fair is not only a large-scale commercial and service event, but also a gathering place for Vietnamese cultural identity through unique art festivals featuring a host of A-list artists.
According to representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the opening and closing ceremonies will feature stage performances, including three artistic programs, to entertain tourists and local people. In addition, several thematic activities such as tourism promotion and introductions to local festivals will be integrated, contributing to spreading the spring atmosphere.
People's Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac - Director of the Department of Performing Arts - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the art program was staged with the spirit of "A New Spring - A New Era," reflecting the harmony of the three regions of North, Central, and South Vietnam. From the opening performance, the program will use a mashup of three representative songs from the three regions, creating a highlight to kick off the show.
Next came songs associated with spring, recreating the beauty of nature and the fresh atmosphere of the country in the new year. The program featured many beloved singers such as My Linh, My Anh, Dong Nhi, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Mai Thi, Bao Tram, Thu Hang… contributing to attracting a large number of locals and tourists.
A crucial link in maintaining economic growth.
According to Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the fair is not simply a shopping destination, but a space to strongly promote the "Made in Vietnam" brand value and the image of a dynamic, integrated nation. We hope that the spirit of "Connecting for Prosperity - Welcoming a Glorious Spring" will deeply permeate the business community, creating a competitive spirit in production right from the first days of the new year.

Mr. Vu Ba Phu emphasized that if the Autumn Fair 2025 was the initial "shot," then the Spring Fair 2026 is the step to elevate and decisively realize the spirit of Resolution 01/NQ-CP of 2026 and Official Dispatch 06/CĐ-TTg dated January 24, 2026, of the Prime Minister on a number of key tasks and solutions to achieve the economic growth target in 2026.
If the Autumn Fair already reached 1 trillion VND under normal market conditions, then the Spring Fair 2026, taking place during the 12 peak days of Tet holiday shopping, is expected to set a new revenue record. Typically, spending on essential goods and gifts during Tet increases two to three times. With the participation of 2,500 businesses and 3,000 booths, we predict the total transaction value will significantly surpass the 1 trillion VND already achieved.
“Furthermore, we expect the Fair to strongly promote the ‘Vietnamese people use Vietnamese products’ movement, linked to patriotism, self-respect, and national pride. Vietnamese goods should no longer be understood as items needing ‘priority’ support, but must be affirmed as exquisite, high-quality products worthy of consumer trust. This is a symbol of prosperity, where businesses can achieve breakthrough revenue and people can experience the best values of domestic products right during the ‘golden time’ for Tet shopping,” said Mr. Vu Ba Phu.
