Congress theme: "Promoting the strength of national solidarity, joining hands and hearts to build Ho Chi Minh City to develop sustainably in the new era, for the happiness of the people".
The Congress has the task of objectively and comprehensively assessing the work results in the 2024-2029 term and is determined to successfully implement the goals and action programs contributing to the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City in the 2025-2030 period, with a vision to 2045.
On November 28, the delegation attending the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025-2030, led by comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, offered flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park (Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
After the incense offering ceremony, the delegation led by comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc attended the social security program in Sai Gon ward. At the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City presented means of livelihood, scholarships and gifts to households in difficult circumstances.
On the same day, delegations attending the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery (Long Binh Ward), Ba Ria - Vung Tau Martyrs' Cemetery (Ba Ria Ward), and Binh Duong Martyrs' Cemetery (Thuan Giao Ward).
The delegates also participated in social security programs, visited Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, took care of policy families, and people in difficult circumstances. In addition, the delegates participated in the project "Great Unity Tree Garden", planting 500 trees in Chanh Hiep ward.
On the occasion of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025-2030, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City - the Ho Chi Minh City Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee allocated nearly 34 billion VND from the Ho Chi Minh City Fund for the Poor to take care of social security in 7 wards; take care of Lunar New Year for people in 168 communes, wards and special zones (33 billion VND).
On November 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Vietnam Fatherland Front - Promoting the strength of great solidarity" at Lam Son Park (Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The photo exhibition with the theme “Vietnam Fatherland Front - The Strength of National Unity”, takes place from November 28 to 30, with 3 main photo clusters. Cluster 1 introduces the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City. Cluster 2 has the theme of promoting the strength of national unity to build and develop the city. Cluster 3 has the theme of Ho Chi Minh City people uniting together, turning to compatriots affected by storms and floods.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Truong Thi Bich Hanh shared that each photo is a story, recording the correct directions and decisions of the city's leaders, the tireless efforts of generations of Front officials, organizations and especially the responsible community participation of the people.
