Today, the 5th session of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council discussed in depth about urban beautification.

Today, November 14, the 10th term People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2021-2026, held the 5th session (special session) to review and give opinions on many important contents.

In particular, the meeting will conduct personnel work, and at the same time review and give opinions on a group of submissions and draft resolutions on legal regulations: regulations on allocating sources for salary reform and budget expenditure norms for 2026; expenditure levels for industrial promotion activities, business travel expenses and conference organization; measures to implement grassroots democracy in the city; roadmap for converting to green buses; criteria and support levels for grassroots security and order teams; policies to support drug addiction treatment and post-treatment management; policies to support people with meritorious services and martyrs' relatives; health insurance support for the elderly, students, etc.

Delegates also gave their opinions on a group of reports and draft resolutions on investment policies for dredging and renovating Ong Be and Ba Lon canals; investment policies for upgrading Road 991 (National Highway 51 - Ring Road 4); and capital support for site clearance on the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway.
