Today, the National Assembly works on law enforcement work in 2025

According to the National Assembly's working plan, today, December 9, the Minister of Public Security , authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a Report on crime prevention and control and law violations in 2025.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy presented the 2025 Work Report of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court presented the 2025 People's Court Work Report.

The Minister of Justice, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on the enforcement of judgments in 2025.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice presented the Report on the examination of the above reports.

The Government Inspector General, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on anti-corruption work in 2025. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice presented the Report on the verification of the Report of the Government Inspector General.

Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee Duong Thanh Binh presented a report on the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and supervising the settlement of complaints and denunciations sent by citizens to the National Assembly in 2025.

The Government Inspector General, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a Report on citizen reception and settlement of administrative complaints and denunciations in 2025. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision presented a Report on the verification of the Government's Report.

Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the work reports of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy; crime prevention and control work and law violations; execution work; corruption prevention and control work in 2025; results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations in 2025.

Members of the Government, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy and relevant agencies and individuals explained and clarified a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

In the afternoon, the Minister of Finance, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a report, and the Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee presented a report on the adjustment and reduction of the 2025 economic career expenditure estimate assigned to the Ministry of Construction for targeted supplementation to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the road sector (2nd time).

The National Assembly then discussed in the hall the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Value Added Tax; the adjustment to reduce the 2025 economic career expenditure estimate assigned to the Ministry of Construction to supplement with a target for the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the road sector (2nd time). The Minister of Finance explained and clarified a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

From 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the National Assembly meets privately.

The Minister of Industry and Trade, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the report, and the Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee presented the Verification Report on the implementation of the Politburo's conclusion on the policy and handling plan for the Southern Pulp Mill Project.

The National Assembly discussed the above issue in the hall.

The Minister of Industry and Trade explained and clarified a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies./.
