At Home Credit Vietnam, improving financial literacy for the community has been a focus of our sustainable development strategy over the years.
With the belief that it is the foundation for each individual to live independently and make safe and responsible financial decisions, Home Credit aims to bring financial knowledge to all groups of people, especially women in difficult circumstances and students - the future generation of the country.

Looking back at the journey to 2025, Home Credit has made continuous efforts to make financial knowledge more accessible and attractive. Specifically, throughout the past year, through training sessions, seminars for students and women, along with digital media channels, the company has brought financial knowledge closer to the community in an easy-to-understand and interesting way. These practical experiences and advice have also been compiled in the book "Understanding Finance - Smart Financial Management Guide", compiled by Home Credit in collaboration with Saigon Books and leading experts.
Equipping young people with financial knowledge and skills
One of Home Credit Vietnam's outstanding programs this year is the University Tour 2025 series of activities to equip students with basic knowledge and skills in personal finance, such as how to assess "financial health", determine specific goals, and make financial plans for each stage of study and work.

With the participation of speakers from many different fields, the program brings multi-dimensional perspectives and real-life situations, thereby providing young people with smart spending tips, as well as long-term savings and reasonable investment thinking, helping you visualize more clearly the path to achieving financial freedom in the future.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the program was held at the University of Finance and Marketing in June and the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City in September, before expanding to schools in Da Nang such as the University of Economics and the Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications in October, attracting more than 2,000 students to participate directly and online.
Accompanying women in difficult circumstances
Another target group that Home Credit focuses on in its plan to improve financial literacy is women in difficult circumstances or living in remote areas.
In the first quarter of 2025, the company cooperated with the Capital Women's Newspaper and the Vietnam Women's Union to organize a series of financial management training sessions for women in Thanh Hoa, Dien Bien and Hanoi , helping women have more tools to manage personal and family finances and improve their lives.

In October, the company continued to cooperate with the Banking Academy - Phu Yen Branch to successfully deploy a series of 10 "Personal Finance" classes, aiming to spread practical financial knowledge to more than 300 women and students in Dak Lak province.
The classes are designed to suit each target group, helping participants easily apply them to real life. Women are equipped with skills to manage family budgets, as well as principles of safe savings and borrowing, thereby being able to proactively plan their finances and prevent the risk of black credit. Meanwhile, students have the opportunity to learn basic knowledge about saving, spending wisely and are guided to practice money management habits with the principle of "3 jars": saving - spending - sharing.
