Accordingly, Mau A commune distributed a total of 1,062 Tet gifts to beneficiaries including war veterans and families of policy beneficiaries from various funding sources. Of these, 714 gifts were from the President and the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, given to war invalids, sick soldiers, revolutionary activists affected by chemical toxins, those imprisoned by the enemy; representatives of martyrs' families and those who worship martyrs, with gift values ranging from 300,000 to 600,000 VND per gift.

In addition, Mau A commune proactively arranged 348 gift packages from the commune's budget for visiting families of policy beneficiaries, presenting them to war veterans, families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, and sick soldiers. Each gift package is worth 200,000 VND.
To ensure that the gift-giving was timely, targeted, and dignified, the local authorities established nine working groups to directly visit households, offer encouragement, and present Tet gifts from various levels of government. At each household, the working groups attentively inquired about the well-being of war veterans and their families, listened to their concerns and aspirations, and promptly identified any difficulties in their lives in order to provide appropriate support.

These Tet gifts, though not of great material value, carry profound spiritual significance, expressing gratitude for the silent sacrifices of previous generations and affirming the concern of the Party, the State, and the entire society for those who have contributed to the revolution. Through this, they help policy beneficiary families celebrate Tet more fully and warmly, instilling in them confidence and motivation to strive for a better life.
Visiting and giving Tet gifts to people with meritorious services and families of policy beneficiaries has become a beautiful tradition, demonstrating profound humanity in social welfare policies, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the leadership of the Party and the administration of all levels of government, while spreading the spirit of solidarity and compassion in the community every time Tet comes around.
