Co May 3 Bridge is over 500 m long, connecting An Ngai commune, Long Dien district with Ward 12, Vung Tau city. The bridge is inspired by a kite, and is the first prize winner worth 100 million VND in the architectural design competition organized by the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in the middle of last year.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway is 15.7 km long and is divided into three sub-projects. The first section is 6.7 km long, from the end of the expressway through Ba Ria City to Vung Van intersection, Long Dien district, with a total investment of more than 6,700 billion VND.

The second section is over 6.8 km long, crossing salt fields, aquaculture ponds and swamps in An Ngai commune, connecting to coastal road DT994, Ward 12, Vung Tau city, with a total investment of nearly 5,200 billion VND. Co May 3 Bridge is part of this section.

Section 3 is the main road of Vung Tau city, nearly 3 km long, with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND, to be implemented in the period 2024-2028.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway component projects, when completed, will create a smooth route that will shorten the travel time by car from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau from two hours to 70 minutes; at the same time, it will link with the coastal road connecting Binh Thuan to form a complete traffic network.
