More than 1,600 savings and credit policy groups are managed by the Provincial Women's Union.

(DN) - On November 13, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch Nguyen Duc Lenh said: As of early October 2025, the Women's Union of Dong Nai province manages and is in charge of more than 1,600 savings and loan groups, accounting for 36.6% of the total number of savings and loan groups of socio-political organizations in the province.

Total outstanding loans reached more than 4.3 trillion VND with over 78.1 thousand borrowers, accounting for about 37% of total outstanding credit of the Social Policy Bank, Dong Nai province branch.

The Deputy Director of the State Bank, Region 2 Branch, said that recently, the Women's Union at all levels in Dong Nai province has directly received loan entrustment from the Social Policy Bank, Dong Nai branch; in charge of and managing savings and loan groups to work with the Social Policy Bank, Dong Nai branch, and transaction offices to lend to policy beneficiaries, the poor, people in difficult circumstances... in the area according to regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Lenh emphasized: Dong Nai Women's Union organizes information and propaganda work well; disseminates and guides members to use loans for the right purpose and effectively; provides personal financial advice and vocational education. Thereby promoting the efficiency of capital and the objectives of policy credit programs in the locality.
