More than 1,600 savings and credit policy groups are managed by the Provincial Women's Union.

(DN) - On November 13, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch Nguyen Duc Lenh said: As of early October 2025, the Women's Union of Dong Nai province manages and is in charge of more than 1,600 savings and loan groups, accounting for 36.6% of the total number of savings and loan groups of socio-political organizations in the province.

Total outstanding loans reached over 4.3 trillion VND with more than 78,100 borrowers, accounting for approximately 37% of the total credit outstanding of the Social Policy Bank branch in Dong Nai province.

According to the Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam's Regional Branch 2, in recent times, the Women's Union at all levels in Dong Nai province has directly received entrusted loans from the Social Policy Bank's Dong Nai branch; and has been in charge of managing savings and loan groups to work with the Social Policy Bank's Dong Nai branch and its transaction offices to provide loans to policy beneficiaries, the poor, and those in difficult circumstances in the area, in accordance with regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Lenh emphasized: The Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union has done a good job of disseminating information and propaganda; popularizing and guiding members to use loan capital for the right purposes and effectively; providing personal financial advice and vocational education. Through this, it has effectively utilized capital and achieved the goals of policy credit programs in the locality.
