On the same day, July 5, the Lam Dong Association for the Support of Poor Patients, Disabled People and Orphans closed a knitting class for 80 women with disabilities in Duc Trong commune. This is a source of funding from the "Fund for a Beautiful Life" of Daiichi Life Vietnam Insurance Company, with a sponsorship amount of more than 1 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Van Luc - Chairman of the Association for the Support of Poor Patients - Disabled People and Orphans of Lam Dong said: This is the first charity activity of the Association in the new Lam Dong province, in which the program of medical examination, medicine distribution and gift giving to 500 people in difficult circumstances with a budget of 280 million VND sponsored by Dai-Ichi Life's For a Beautiful Life Fund. At the same time, the Association organized the closing ceremony of a vocational training class and provided capital for the disabled in Duc Trong and 750 million VND was sponsored by Dai-Ichi Life Japan for this vocational training class.
The Association will strive to carry out humanitarian and charitable activities, contributing to Lam Dong province in expanding social security programs.
