More than 100 officials of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin received professional training.

On the morning of November 28, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Hung Yen province held a training conference on professional work of the association in 2025.

More than 100 trainees who are presidents and vice presidents of the Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims of communes and wards in the province were taught basic topics on: The Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on overcoming the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam and the activities of the Vietnam Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims; introduced documents of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the State and the province related to the association's work; regimes and policies for Agent Orange victims; propaganda, emulation, rewards, inspection and supervision; guidance on reporting and document drafting.

At the conference, the trainees discussed the difficulties and obstacles in the Association's activities in the context of implementing the 2-level local government model. Thereby, helping the commune-level Agent Orange/dioxin Victims Association officials grasp the guidance of the Party, the State, the Central Association, and the province on the position, role and tasks of the association in the new period, and solutions to improve the quality of association activities, thereby improving capacity and expertise in performing association work.
