This is the first charter flight of Vietravel Company, Da Nang branch, in cooperation with Vietravel Airlines, bringing 200 Vietnamese tourists departing from Da Nang International Airport to Japan.
In the opposite direction, Vietravel Da Nang branch welcomed 100 tourists from Japan to Da Nang International Airport.
Representatives of the Department of Tourism and company leaders welcomed and presented flowers to guests on the first flight to Da Nang.
The event marks the effective promotional efforts of enterprises in the international market, contributing significantly to the goal of attracting international visitors to Da Nang in general and Central Vietnam in the period of 2024-2025.
It is known that from now until the end of 2024, Vietravel will cooperate with Japanese partners to officially carry out 3 more charter flights on the Japan - Vietnam route. The number of flights may continue to increase depending on market demand.
Vietravel Airlines is currently operating 5 domestic routes connecting the capital Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with major tourist cities such as Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon.
For the international market, the airline is currently operating direct flights from Hanoi to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok with a frequency of 11 flights/week during prime time.
According to Ms. Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietravel, the company is always ready to work with relevant departments, agencies and domestic and foreign partners to organize cultural exchange activities, festivals, events, market research promotion activities and exchange of visitors between Da Nang and Japan.
Da Nang in particular has the advantage of beautiful beaches, developed infrastructure and is the gateway to world cultural heritages, which are favorable conditions to attract international tourists.
