The drill was attended by 140 people, including forest rangers, the Commune Military Command, militia, La Gian village forest fire prevention and fighting force and many local people.
The hypothetical situation is that people burn the ground cover, leading to a fire. When smoke and fire are detected, the forest owner immediately raises the alarm and informs the village chief. The shock force and villagers are quickly mobilized, bringing manual tools such as knives, hoes, shovels, fire extinguishers, etc. to the scene, organizing to put out the fire according to the "4 on-site" principle. However, the light wind and thick ground cover cause the fire to spread quickly, beyond the control of the initial force. The village chief immediately reports to the Commune People's Committee, requesting additional manpower.

Upon receiving the fire alarm, the Commune People's Committee mobilized the militia and the Commune Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Team to the scene, divided into three attack groups, using blowers, fire extinguishers and specialized tools to contain and control the fire.
According to the scenario, the fire continued to burn strongly, forcing the field commander to report to the Commune People's Committee Chairman to request additional forces, expand the firebreak and deploy a large-scale fire-fighting plan.
During the exercise, the units fully implemented the procedures: Fire alarm, force mobilization, command organization, scene approach, zoning, runway establishment, fire extinguishment, ensuring safety for people and vehicles. After the fire was controlled, the forces checked the traces, assessed the cause and learned from experience.

According to the Organizing Committee, the exercise was conducted seriously, synchronously, and ensured absolute safety. The coordination capacity, ability to use equipment, and proactive spirit of the grassroots forces were significantly improved.
This is an important basis for Doai Phuong commune to complete its forest fire prevention and fighting plan, proactively and effectively respond in the upcoming dry season; at the same time, it contributes to raising public awareness of the responsibility to protect forest resources.
