(CTO) - According to the Ministry of Finance, in the first 6 months of this year, the total registered capital added to the economy reached more than 2.77 million billion VND, an increase of 89% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the additional registered capital of operating enterprises was more than 1.95 million billion VND, an increase of more than 170.8%.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the business registration situation has changed positively, with 152,707 enterprises entering and re-entering the market, an increase of 26.5% over the same period in 2024. Of which, newly established enterprises reached 91,186, an increase of nearly 11.8%, registered capital reached 820,875 billion VND (an increase of 9.88%), the number of registered employees was 591,062, an increase of 13.9%. The number of enterprises returning to operation was 61,521, an increase of more than 57.2% over the same period in 2024.

In addition, in June 2025, the country had 124,343 newly registered business households, with registered capital of VND 17,089 billion. This is a record high to date, affirming the practical effectiveness of the policy of developing the private economic sector.
