The song, composed by Nguyen Hai Phong, was released within the framework of the Tinh Hoa Viet 2025 Awards - recognizing the contributions of individuals and groups in the fields of culture and arts in the country, on December 5.
The MV brings together a series of familiar voices such as Lam Truong, Phuong Vy, Phan Manh Quynh, Bui Lan Huong, Isaac, Huong Tram, Bui Cong Nam, Lam Bao Ngoc, GreyD and Cao Ba Hung. Many artists from traditional performing arts such as Cheo clown, dance of the ball, cup dance, Hue royal court music also appear, recreating the beauty of culture through movements and costumes. The film industry has the participation of three actors from this year's blockbuster films - Kaity Nguyen ( Twilight ), Nguyen Hung, Lam Thanh Nha ( Red Rain ) and Ho Thu Anh ( Tunnel: Sun in the Dark ).
Musician Nguyen Hai Phong said his inspiration for composing came from his desire to preserve Vietnamese values with a familiar, easy-to-understand melody. He compared the process of writing lyrics to gathering his own memories and experiences and then condensing them into lyrics.
The recording process took about 10 days. According to the musician, the complete mix has about 500 layers of sound, including vocals, instruments and many supporting details. There were parts that were only a few seconds long, but the group had to spend many hours adjusting them. When choosing a singer, he did not prioritize fame but focused on a sense of intimacy and how to handle the lyrics so as to still maintain the spirit of Vietnamese music , from the singing voice, pronunciation to the emotions conveyed.
The MV was made in four days, directed by Kawaii Tuan Anh. The script is built through the perspective of a boy at the museum. The character finds a mysterious box, opening up the process of discovering cultural pieces. The director uses this detail as a starting point to lead the audience to approach national artistic values. Due to different artist schedules, the crew had to optimize the time to arrange the lighting and setting. There were times when the film crew had to change the space continuously.
Singer Bui Lan Huong commented that the song explores the theme of honoring the values of Vietnamese people with strong expression in melody and image. Meanwhile, Bui Cong Nam said that the project is an opportunity for him to spread positive messages to the audience. He hopes that the stories and melodies in the product will inspire viewers.
The Tinh Hoa Viet Award is organized by Dai Doan Ket newspaper - the central agency of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - in collaboration with ZOA Creative Media Company Limited. The organizing committee aims to honor cultural and artistic values of Vietnamese identity.
