More than 5,000 comments sent to the Prime Minister's Conference on Dialogue with Farmers in 2025

The 7th Conference of the Prime Minister's Dialogue with Vietnamese Farmers in 2025 will take place on the morning of December 10 at the Government Headquarters.

The conference was chaired by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, in coordination with the Government Office , ministries and branches.

The conference took place in a combination of live and online formats. At the main bridge from the Government headquarters, there were about 300 delegates, including more than 150 typical farmers.

The Prime Minister's Conference on Dialogue with Vietnamese Farmers in 2025, with the theme: "Application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in farmers", aims to concretize the deployment and implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development in the new situation.

The conference will take place in an open format, whereby farmers and cooperatives will ask questions, exchange opinions and make proposals directly to the Government, the Prime Minister, and leaders of ministries, branches and localities.

On that basis, the Prime Minister will, together with leaders of ministries and branches, listen to, exchange and discuss issues that farmers have proposed to resolve difficulties and problems, and at the same time propose mechanisms and policies to remove them.

At the end of the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will deliver an important concluding speech to clarify issues at the dialogue and direct ministries, branches and localities to focus on implementing groups of issues to support farmers.

Firstly, mechanisms and policies to promote cooperation and transfer of scientific and technological applications in production, harvesting, preservation and processing of agricultural products for farmers; solutions to support training and digital transformation for farmers; connecting cooperative enterprises - farmers - scientists, promoting innovation in agriculture and rural areas.

Second, policies and solutions on credit, tax, and capital support for farmers to invest in developing high-tech, organic, circular, low-emission agriculture, herbal and endemic products; support deep processing for cooperatives and micro-enterprises; develop logistics systems to serve large-scale trade of agricultural products and goods; connect and support agricultural product consumption, especially promoting and introducing agricultural product consumption in the digital environment.

Third, strengthen solutions and measures to manage and control the quality of agricultural materials, stabilize prices of agricultural input materials; address counterfeit, fake, and poor-quality goods; and food safety issues.

Fourth, pay attention to investing in infrastructure for agriculture and rural areas, especially internet infrastructure in remote areas, flood and landslide warning systems; mechanisms and policies to support post-flood production recovery; attract businesses and farmers to participate, and promote the agricultural insurance market.

Fifth, on planning specialized areas, developing brands, key industries and solutions to support farmers' participation; removing difficulties and obstacles in concentrating and accumulating agricultural land, unlocking land resources to develop agriculture and rural areas, creating sustainable livelihoods.

The conference will be broadcast live on the Government's Electronic Information Portal and Dan Viet Electronic Newspaper starting at 8:00 a.m. on December 10, 2025./.
