More than 500 students of Phu Yen University were educated about Vietnam's seas and islands.

On September 13, the Navy coordinated with Phu Yen University, Dak Lak province to organize a propaganda session about Vietnam's seas and islands for more than 600 students of the school during the Citizen - Student Activity Week of the 2025-2026 school year.

The program is part of a series of propaganda and educational activities to raise awareness and foster love for the homeland and the country's sea and islands among the young generation.

During two days of propaganda (September 12 and 13), reporters from Regiment 196 (the first submarine unit of the People's Navy) informed students about the basic contents about the position and strategic role of seas and islands in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; the current situation in the East Sea; the policies and viewpoints of our Party and State in resolving issues related to sovereignty over seas and islands.

In addition, students were also introduced to the heroic tradition, political missions and contributions of the Vietnam People's Navy in the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands.

The propaganda session attracted attention and positive response from students, contributing to spreading patriotism, national pride and sense of responsibility of the young generation in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Through this meaningful activity, the Navy continues to affirm its core role in propaganda work on seas and islands, while strengthening the military-civilian relationship between the Navy and schools and young generations in the province.
