(Dan Tri) – More than 60 Mister World 2024 contestants wore ao dai and performed at the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest 9 program at Bach Dinh, Vung Tau on the afternoon of November 9.
Bach Dinh relic site (Vung Tau) has become a stage fashion, with the participation of beauty queens, runners-up, and more than 60 kings from the Mr World 2024 contest.
In the ancient, nostalgic space of Bach Dinh on the coast of Vung Tau, the beauties and the king presented 4 new fashion collections.
The opening is the “Giai Y” collection by designer Tran Thien Khanh, inspired by the image of a traditional Vietnamese family. The collection features soft Ao Dai designs, combining Hue scenery and royal architectural details, honoring graceful and delicate beauty.

Meanwhile, designer Viet Hung recreated the image of traditional Vietnamese costumes through brocade materials, dragon and stork motifs and folk lines, sending a message of preserving and spreading traditional values through the collection "Remembering the Five Relatives".
With the collection “Non nuoc Nam bo”, designer Minh Chau brings the rich Southwest into a men's ao dai reformed from a vest and uses checkered scarves and scraps of fabric to create images of rivers and trees, emphasizing sustainable fashion.

Designer Harold's "Flashback" vest collection inspired by the 1970s and 1990s combines tradition and modernity, suitable for the dynamic lifestyle of the young generation, both classic and youthful.
After introducing the collections, the show continued with the performance of the male kings in their own chosen outfits for the Top Model competition.
The Top 12 of this competition were officially revealed that night, including representatives from Italy, Northern Ireland, Spain, China, India, Philippines, Türkiye, Vietnam, Kenya, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.

Mister Tuan Ngoc, representing Vietnam, shared: “For many contestants, this is their first time coming to Vietnam and I think participating in a big event is a great opportunity for us to share our culture. Each contestant brings their own national costume, helping us understand more about each other and about each person's identity when coming to Vietnam.”
The Mr World 2024 contest is held for the first time in Vietnam with a series of activities taking place from November 5 to 23 in the two coastal cities of Vung Tau (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) and Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan).
In the coming days, the contestants will enter competitions such as: Mr Talent, Mr Sport, National Costume, Head to head challenge...
This year, Mr World will select the top 4 finalists with only one representative from each region. The final night is scheduled to be held in Phan Thiet city on November 23.
