More than 8,000 job positions and more than 6,400 vocational training targets are waiting for workers at the Sustainable Job Fair.

Pursuant to Plan No. 16 dated January 12, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the Employment Program of Thua Thien Hue province in 2024, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) in coordination with the People's Committee of Huong Tra town will organize the first Sustainable Employment Festival of Thua Thien Hue province in 2024. The festival will open at 7:00 a.m. on May 31, 2024 at the Central Park of Huong Tra town, Cach Mang Thang Tam street, Tu Ha ward, Huong Tra town.

This job fair has 37 businesses, schools, and vocational training institutions participating, with the need to recruit 8,149 domestic and foreign job positions, enrolling 6,420 vocational students with many occupations and levels.

Mr. Ho Dan, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said that the purpose of the Sustainable Job Fair organized throughout the province is to carry out tasks and solutions to support the development of the labor market, create a bridge for businesses, training facilities, vocational education, and workers to participate in job transactions, connect labor recruitment, and enrollment. Thereby contributing to reducing the unemployment rate, increasing the number of workers with sustainable and stable jobs and attracting businesses to invest in Thua Thien Hue province.
