Meeting to prepare for groundbreaking of schools in border communes

On the morning of November 11, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngoc, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee on the implementation of Resolution No. 298 of the Government on building schools for border communes, chaired a meeting to listen to reports on preparations for building schools for border communes in the province. Attending the meeting were leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors, and units and online connections with 4 communes of Duc Nong, Sa Loong, Ro Koi and Mo Rai.

In phase 1, Quang Ngai province invested in building 4 primary and secondary boarding schools in the border communes of Duc Nong, Sa Loong, Ro Koi and Mo Rai. Departments, branches and localities have completed reviewing investment plans, introducing construction sites of 5-10 hectares, and basically determining the implementation location. Each school has a total investment of 59-207 billion VND, with a scale of about 30 classrooms, serving 800-1,000 students, including a dormitory, teachers' housing, dining area, gym, library and synchronous equipment.

Up to now, the units are urgently preparing for the groundbreaking ceremony of 4 projects on the morning of November 16, 2025. The program will be broadcast live on QNgTV channel of Quang Ngai Newspaper and Radio and Television at the main bridge point of Duc Nong commune, connecting online to 3 bridge points of Sa Loong, Ro Koi and Mo Rai.

The script has been developed, personnel have been arranged and technical plans have been made to ensure the live broadcast is safe and effective. The reception, accommodation for the Central and Provincial delegates, security, logistics and propaganda work have been implemented synchronously. The communes have completed the decoration of the ceremony area, mobilized forces, prepared the art troupe and service personnel. According to the localities, the people in the area expressed their excitement and expectations for the project that bears an important mark on education , social security and development of the border area of ​​Quang Ngai province.
