Occupational Safety and Health Training for more than 650 officers and employees in the Electricity industry

On November 11, Phu Tho Power Company coordinated with the Northern Power College to organize a periodic Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) Training course for officers and employees in 2025 according to Decree 44 dated May 15, 2016 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on OSH on occupational safety technical inspection, OSH training and working environment monitoring.

At the training session, lecturers from the Safety Training Center - Northern College of Electricity conveyed and instructed on a number of contents: Overview of occupational safety and health work and new policies and regulations; direct training at the workplace, identifying hazards in daily work and preventive measures, improving working conditions; Regulations on the operation of the occupational safety and health network...

These are the contents considered the most important in terms of safety work at present according to the guidance of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and the Northern Power Corporation.

The training program focused on and delved into the contents applied in the Electrical Safety process, labor safety inspection and control work, expanded the discussion of related issues in the implementation of the work sheet regime, operation sheet, work order... so that trainees could promptly grasp and implement to improve the quality and efficiency of work. At the same time, clearly identify dangerous and harmful factors; incidents that may occur at work and how to prevent and handle them; medical methods to rescue accident victims, fire prevention and fighting work...

Along with that, the labor accidents that occurred in the Group, Corporation, and enterprises in the recent past were also seriously disseminated by lecturers to students and occupational safety and hygiene officers, thereby drawing lessons, raising awareness, and spreading the spirit of responsibility for people and electrical equipment in production labor.

Through the training course, trainees also understand more important contents such as the purpose, meaning and nature of labor protection work; understand and deeply understand legal documents on labor safety and hygiene work; labor regulations of enterprises as well as state and industry regulations that must be complied with when performing work.

It is expected that the periodic Occupational Safety and Health Training course for employees of Phu Tho Power Company in 2025 will take place from November 11 to 18 in Phu Tho Region 1 and Hoa Binh Region 3 with a total of more than 650 participants.
