In Loc An commune, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, shared the difficulties and losses that people had to endure due to natural disasters, hoping that the project would help people stabilize their lives soon.

The Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee requested that units must implement the project at lightning speed, work day and night, focus on key points, and resolve any problems immediately; absolutely not allowing administrative procedures to slow down the progress of house construction for the people. However, Hue is an area heavily affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods every year. Therefore, the houses built in this campaign must ensure "3 hard" (hard foundation, hard frame, hard roof), and must be the safest shelter for people when natural disasters strike. At the same time, units must also review and select beneficiaries, publicly, transparently, with the right people and the right circumstances; absolutely not allowing negativity to occur and taking advantage of this humane policy.

Authorities and local governments also need to mobilize all resources according to the motto "whoever has something helps, whoever has merit helps merit, whoever has property helps property, whoever has little helps little, whoever has a lot helps a lot, whoever is wherever helps there", focusing on construction, ensuring that projects are built sustainably, economically, effectively and on schedule.

Accordingly, in late October and November, in localities from Ha Tinh to Lam Dong, there were consecutive natural disasters, "floods on floods, storms on storms", landslides, historic floods, causing great damage to people, property, houses, seriously affecting people's lives.

The natural disaster left behind ruined houses and homeless families, making the already difficult lives of these people even more burdened with worries. Understanding that pain, the Prime Minister launched the "Quang Trung Campaign" with the spirit of: "Speed - Boldness - Efficiency". "Quang Trung Campaign" in peacetime is a race against time to bring a safe home to the people before the new storm season arrives and so that the people can celebrate a "Reunion Tet" in their new home.

In Hue, the storm and flood completely damaged 5 houses and severely damaged 9 houses, of which in Loc An commune 2 houses were completely damaged and 1 house was severely damaged; in Khe Tre commune 3 houses completely collapsed and 7 houses were severely damaged.
