The exhibition displays and introduces 75 works of art in various forms such as painting, sculpture, graphics, video art, installation art... from the collection of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts.

This exhibition collection shows throughout the creative stages of famous authors from the first half of the 20th century such as Ton That Sa; the period 1930-1945 such as Mai Trung Thu, Ton That Dao, Le Thanh Nhon...; the period 1945-1975 such as Phan Xuan Sanh, Do Ky Hoang, Vinh Phoi, Lam Triet, Ton That Van, Dinh Cuong, Truong Be, Hoang Dang Nhuan, Le Quy Long, Cong Huyen, Ton Nu Tuyet Mai, Buu Chi, Duong Dinh Sang... to the second half of the 20th century, along with young artists with new art forms such as video art, installation art...

These are works of typical artistic value and distinctive creative style of 45 Hue-born visual artists, living, studying and working in Hue, representing a period of Vietnamese fine arts in general, and Hue fine arts in particular, in a certain historical period.
At the exhibition, Hue Museum of Fine Arts also received 3 works: Dien Hue Nam (by the late painter Ton That Van, collected and donated by researcher Tran Viet Ngac), the work "Untitled" by painter Pham Luc (donated by collector Nguyen Huu Hoang) and the work "Lotus painted in Chinese ink" (by painter To Bich Hai, donated by Ms. Le Cam Te).

Previously, the family of the late painter Le Thanh Nhon (in Australia) donated to the Hue Museum of Fine Arts some of his most notable works, including a plaster sculpture of Buddha Shakyamuni. The late painter Le Thanh Nhon (1940-2022) was from Phu Cuong, Thu Dau Mot (formerly Binh Duong ), and used to teach in Hue.
