On the evening of October 4, at Nghenh Luong Dinh (Phu Xuan ward, Hue city), Hue city Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the program "Lion-Dragon-Unicorn performance and Mid-Autumn Festival 2025."
The event is part of a series of events for the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, aiming to introduce unique activities and traditional Hue cultural experiences to locals and tourists.
"The Lion-Dragon-Unicorn Dance Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival 2025" has many attractive activities taking place at Nghenh Luong Dinh, Trinh Cong Son Park, Gia Hoi Ancient Town and the streets in Hue city.
During the festival, people and tourists can participate in hanging decorative lanterns, introduce and experience making traditional Hue lanterns with artisan Phan Thi Tuyet Trinh, visit the traditional lion model exhibition, enjoy special lion dances by typical lion troupes in the city such as Bach Ngoc Duong, Vo Lam Hung Son, Vo Lam Thien Long, Bach Hoa...
The highlight of the Festival is the Lion-Dragon-Unicorn performance and the Mid-Autumn Festival lantern procession taking place along the routes from Nghenh Luong Dinh to Trinh Cong Son Park with the participation of nearly 500 students from schools in Phu Xuan ward, artists from Hue Royal Traditional Arts Theater and cyclo groups of Grab Limited Company.
Director of Hue City Department of Tourism Tran Thi Hoai Tram said the event not only brings joy to children but is also an opportunity to promote Hue's cultural heritage, restart traditional cultural and trading activities to serve tourism development, arouse the spirit of community cohesion, and contribute to making Hue a friendly and unique destination./.
