Hung Yen signed a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Airlines for the period 2026

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province; Mr. Pham Van Nghiem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines Corporation and representatives of relevant departments and branches.

At the conference, delegates heard a general report on the potential, comparative advantages, and socio -economic development situation of Hung Yen province in recent times; at the same time, updated information on production and business activities, and medium and long-term development strategy orientations of the province. Vietnam Airlines . On that basis, the two sides exchanged, discussed and agreed on the key contents of the Memorandum of Cooperation Agreement.

According to the signed content, in the period of 2026 - 2030, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province and Vietnam Airlines will strengthen coordination in the fields of investment, trade, tourism and aviation; step up promotion and advertising of tourism - aviation - investment; widely spread the image of culture, tourism and people of Hung Yen; at the same time coordinate the implementation of programs and projects to promote the socio-economic development of the locality. The cooperative relationship is built on the principles of equality, voluntariness, transparency, compliance with legal regulations and ensuring harmonious interests for all parties.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc affirmed that the signing of the cooperation agreement is an important milestone, opening a new phase of cooperation between the People's Committee of Hung Yen province and Vietnam Airlines contributes to creating momentum to promote investment attraction, tourism development, and improve local competitiveness and integration.

Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee proposed Vietnam Airlines Pay attention to promoting destinations, festivals, tourism events, foreign affairs, cultural activities and investment promotion of Hung Yen province on the in-flight entertainment system, media channels and digital platforms of the airline; arrange space to display tourism publications in waiting rooms, check-in counters and on appropriate flights.

In addition, Hung Yen provincial leaders requested Vietnam Airlines to research and select some typical products of Hung Yen such as agricultural products, OCOP products, typical handicrafts to introduce on flights and promotional events at home and abroad; consider the possibility of adding some local dishes and specialties that meet aviation standards to the in-flight meal menu.

Mr. Ngoc also requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to strengthen coordination, proactively provide information, data and images to serve communication work; at the same time, continue to improve the investment environment, complete tourism infrastructure, create favorable conditions for cooperation contents to be implemented substantially, effectively and in accordance with legal regulations.
