Guidance for business households to convert from lump-sum tax to electronic declaration

On November 11, at the headquarters of Tax Department 1, Thai Nguyen Provincial Tax Department held an online dialogue conference with more than 1,300 business households that are paying taxes using the electronic tax declaration method.

At the Conference, delegates were informed about the elimination of lump-sum tax and the transition to declaration based on actual revenue according to the decision of the Ministry of Finance , implemented from January 1, 2026.

This is an important innovation to improve transparency and fairness in tax management, while promoting the application of information technology in tax declaration and payment activities.

In addition, tax authority representatives provided specific instructions on electronic tax declaration procedures, how to prepare and submit documents, and how to handle situations that arise in practice.

Through the Conference, business households have a better understanding of the electronic tax declaration method, preparing for unified application from the beginning of 2026. This is an important basis contributing to building a transparent, effective and modern business environment.
