On the evening of December 7th, a special music night with a vibrant, youthful, and emotionally charged atmosphere, titled "Melodies of Happiness," concluded the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 program. The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, aimed to spread the spirit of happy and positive living and connect the community through positive values.

At the event, the audience was treated to impressive photos from the Human Rights Media Award - Happy Vietnam 2025. These everyday yet meaningful moments were the "heartbeat" of the event, the most authentic stories about the Vietnamese people and their aspiration to live happily and compassionately.

With three chapters: Happiness is Peace; Happiness is Spreading; Happiness is Loving, the concert offered the audience gentle, profound love songs; charming and intelligent comedies; and conveyed humanistic stories about human relationships, optimism, and faith in the good things that exist around us; as well as games exploring happiness...

In particular, the audience had the opportunity to listen to the singing of the Bridge Band, comprised of members from various embassies in Vietnam. They come from different countries, speak different languages, and bring their own unique melodies… but they meet at a common point: a belief in music as a bridge that brings people closer together. At the Vietnam Happy Day 2025, Bridge Band conveyed the message: Happiness lies not only in the moments we receive, but also in what we share – enduring connections that transcend cultural differences and distances…

Vietnam Happy Fest 2025: Vietnamese Traditional Costume Parade "Hundred Flowers of Joy"

Earlier, on the afternoon of December 7th, the "Hundred Flowers of Joyful Events" Vietnamese traditional costume parade (Wedding Season 2025) and wedding procession around the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area was held. With the participation of 800 people, the procession started from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, went along Hang Dau Street, the intersection of Trang Tien and Hang Khay streets, circled Hoan Kiem Lake, and then returned to the starting point at the main stage of the festival.

Inspired by the joyous ceremonies of the Nguyen Dynasty with their processions, offerings, and auspicious symbols, the program aims to evoke the image of processions of officials, family members, and the bride and groom from the past. Familiar rituals from cultural memory are recreated like vivid film scenes, now appearing amidst modern streets, creating a feeling that is both nostalgic and fresh.

The event brought together a large community of Vietnamese traditional costume enthusiasts, cultural research and practice groups, and couples who registered to participate as one man and one woman. This was an interesting highlight, expanding the experiential space for locals and tourists who wanted to preserve wedding memories with images of traditional Vietnamese attire. Through this, it contributed to spreading the message about cultural values, family, and happiness, encouraging the younger generation to learn about and appreciate the cultural heritage of the nation.

In addition, many rich and attractive activities such as hanging wishes, expressions of gratitude, and shared messages on the "Tree of Happiness"; experiencing the "Lens of Happiness" workshop; marking personal points of happiness on the "Map of Happiness"; sending unspoken messages to loved ones and friends on pieces of paper to put in the "Happy Vietnam" mailbox... have attracted a large number of locals and tourists to visit and experience.

Over the course of three days, Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 left a lasting impression as a destination of happiness, where "Happiness is present in every small moment of Vietnamese life." Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, a resident of Van Mieu ward, Hanoi, shared: "Our country is a happy country. Thanks to the leadership of the Party, the State, and our beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the people always live in happiness. Children are exempt from tuition fees, and soon, people will also benefit from a policy of regular health check-ups and free hospital care for all citizens... That is the happiness of the whole nation. For each individual, happiness lies in the simplest, smallest things. Coming to the festival, she clearly felt the spread of happiness."

Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 is not just a festival, but also a stepping stone towards establishing an annual "Happy Vietnam Day". This special event serves as a reminder that the happiness of the Vietnamese people is built on peace, love for humanity, the will to overcome difficulties and the spirit of solidarity, and on the simple things that make up the Vietnamese cultural identity.
