Singer Huong Tram released the album Lifebuoy in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of December 2 after a long time studying abroad. She said this is a milestone that shows her strong transformation in music - from a "ballad princess" of V-pop to an artist who dares to choose her own path with the color of Cinematic Pop, and turns the new album into a "lifebuoy" for her soul.
Lifebuoy is shaped by Cinematic Pop shades combining contemporary pop and restrained RnB colors. It is this intentional combination that creates an open musical space, like a movie with many layers of scenes and emotional flow that changes with each drop point. Huong Tram enters the album with a more mature, calm and penetrating voice.
The singer also affirmed that she understands that Cinematic Pop is not an accessible genre. But she believes that “artists must be brave enough to step out of their comfort zone and try new things.”

Each song in Lifebuoy has its own emotional level: Wish you many sorrows, Lifebuoy, In me have grown up, The man I love, Say you, Plus a scratch, When that person appears, It's okay not to be okay, Choose the end rather than waiting first, My mistake, Get out of your game. The album as a whole creates a multi-layered journey, rich in cinematic quality and full of emotional depth.
