Huong Tram said that currently, her life mainly revolves around music . Every day, the female singer goes to the studio to record, practice, and learn about composing. She considers art as a support, helping her reshape her journey in Vietnam after many years of living and working in the US. Music is also like a "tonic" that helps her have more energy and freshness every day.
“Coming back here, I kept my original identity, but also made some changes to suit the current music trends. At first, my changes made some audiences unfamiliar, but gradually, people supported my direction and gave me a more open view.
I am very happy about that and hope the audience will fully accept the upcoming music products," Huong Tram shared.

Recently, Huong Tram released the MV "Wishing you many sorrows". The song was composed by musician Hung Quan, belonging to the pop ballad genre, which is Huong Tram's forte. The female singer said that, right from when she received the demo, she was immediately attracted by the song's rather strange theme: Hatred, the pain of a girl hurt in love.
However, the song has negative lyrics as the girl wishes bad things to happen to the boy, causing many people to worry that Huong Tram will face mixed opinions.
Regarding this, the singer admitted that she and her team had doubts before starting the project. Huong Tram said: “I think, when launching a new product, risks are always unavoidable. However, this risk makes me feel more excited about the song.
Because the song is not about hatred until the end of life, but it touches a very real moment of human, an emotion that I have never presented in any song. I find that interesting and fun."

The singer added that in the past, she often sang songs with poetic and highly metaphorical lyrics. "However, I feel that at this time, the audience really likes to face honest and realistic lyrics, especially generation Z. That is why I decided to experiment with things that I have never done in music," Huong Tram shared.
In the MV, Huong Tram plays the role of a girl who was "cuckolded" by Tran Ngoc Vang. Actress Lan Thy plays the role of the "mistress". Huong Tram revealed that the scene that impressed her the most was when she discovered her lover was cuddling with someone else, right in the room where they both had memories.
"I think that if that happened in real life, the pain would be immense," the singer shared. She hopes this song will reach the audience, sending the message of "living true to your inner self, with your most angry, hurt and weakest self."
After more than a decade in the profession, Huong Tram believes that music needs to express intrinsic values, beauty and creativity, instead of following temporary trends or associating it with noisy side issues.
“When I was young, I liked to express my personality through words. Now, I choose to express my message and story through music,” the singer said about the difference between her 20s and 30s.
