
Ky Cung Temple, Dong Kinh Ward - the place to worship Quan Lon Tuan Tranh is one of the typical religious relics of the province, attracting a lot of people and tourists, especially at the end of the year. Ms. Pham Tuyet Le, Head of the Standing Department of Ky Cung Temple relic, Dong Kinh Ward said: We have increased the cleaning and sweeping work; regularly ensure security and order, not allowing begging and superstition to happen. We also promote propaganda and guide people to practice civilized lifestyles while performing rituals and beliefs at the relic.
Not only Ky Cung temple, preparations for the year-end tourist season are being carried out synchronously by many localities. Typically, in Dong Dang commune, the management and safety assurance of sightseeing and festival activities are given special attention. Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hue, Vice Chairman of Dong Dang Commune People's Committee, said: The commune has 10 relic sites, including some relic sites that attract many tourists such as Dong Dang Mau Temple, Thuy Mon Dinh stele house, Hang Pai communal house... To welcome visitors attentively, the commune has issued a plan and instructed the standing committee of the relics to decorate, clean the environment, arrange parking lots, develop plans to ensure security and order, and prevent fires and explosions; commune leaders regularly check the safety conditions at each relic.
In the last two months of 2025 (October and November), the whole province attracted nearly 700,000 visitors (an increase of more than 10% compared to the same period in 2024). Positive feedback from visitors is an effective measure of the proactiveness of relic management levels. To replicate these results, the direction, inspection and guidance from provincial management agencies play an extremely important role.
Mr. Luu Ba Mac, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: Every year, before, during and after the Lunar New Year and the spring festival, the department issues official dispatches to guide localities to fully prepare conditions for facilities and environmental sanitation; effectively implement plans to ensure traffic safety, security and order at relics. The department also organizes inspection teams to grasp the situation of the implementation of the protection of historical and cultural relic values in the locality; the implementation of relic management according to the provisions of the Heritage Law... In 2025, the department organized 2 training conferences to disseminate and implement new contents of the Cultural Heritage Law for officials and heads of relic management boards.
Up to now, most of the tourist areas and relics have been fully prepared, ensuring safety in welcoming and serving tourists. We believe that with the synchronous participation of all levels, sectors and the cooperation of the community, the management and service work at relics in the province will be increasingly in order, meeting the spiritual and sightseeing needs of the people and tourists at the end of the year and the upcoming festival season.
