In August 2025, the cumulative sales results of members of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) and VinFast both decreased due to the impact of the Ghost Month. Meanwhile, Hyundai went against the trend of the whole market and increased sales.
According to the announcement of Thanh Cong Group (TC Group) on September 15, 2025, total sales of Hyundai cars in August reached 3,701 vehicles, an increase of 2.7% over the previous month.

Tucson is the best-selling model of the Hyundai brand with 618 cars delivered to customers, a growth of 21.6%. This is the third consecutive month that this C-size SUV has led the Hyundai family, replacing its brother Accent.
Hyundai Creta ranked second with 600 cars sold, up 44.9%. Meanwhile, Hyundai Accent recorded sales of 332 cars, ranking third. Compared to July 2025, this B-class sedan decreased by 34.1%.
Coming in next in terms of sales in August 2025 is the Hyundai Stargazer with 228 units sold, up 15.1%. The corresponding figure for the Hyundai Santa Fe is 208 units, down 25.7%, and in 5th place. 6th place belongs to the Hyundai Grand i10 with 174 units sold, down 33.8%.

Hyundai Palisade achieved sales of 145 vehicles, an increase of 38%, and ranked 7th. Hyundai Custin with 118 vehicles ranked 8th. Compared to the previous month, Custin's sales remained unchanged.
The remaining positions respectively belonged to Hyundai Venue with sales of 108 vehicles (down 36%) and Hyundai Elantra (43 vehicles, down 15.6%). In particular, Hyundai commercial vehicle models achieved sales of 1,121 vehicles in August 2025, a growth of 14.6%, of which 45 Solati vehicles were sold in the international market.
