According to PhoneArena , Apple's iPhone 16 Pro models and Google's entire upcoming product line are said to use Samsung's M14 OLED display technology.

The company's most advanced displays are part of the M series, with higher numbered models being of higher quality.

The M14 display technology will debut with the Pixel 9 (expected on August 13). In addition to the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, the second-generation Pixel Fold will also be equipped with the M14 OLED.

This will be the first time users will see this screen technology on a smartphone. It is expected to outperform existing technologies in terms of brightness and longevity.

According to the report, only the high-end iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be equipped with M14 OLED. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will still use M12 technology screens, just like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5.

Samsung's current top-of-the-line smartphone - Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with the M13 panel. It is likely that the successor to the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have the M14 screen.
