The female martial artists were a standout performer, winning 5 out of the 6 gold medals for the Vietnamese delegation.

The most impressive performance came from Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc in the women's over 70kg category. Despite being born in 2005, Thanh Truc showed remarkable maturity with her intelligent, skillful, and confident fighting style, leading her to the world championship title.
In addition, the return of Phung Thi Hue in the women's 45kg category also brought many emotions. After a period of focusing on training, the experienced female martial artist made a strong comeback and quickly asserted her class in the Full-contact event with a convincing gold medal.

Hoang Thi Nhat Que continues to write an inspiring story in the women's under 70kg category. Originally from archery, this Nung ethnic girl from Thai Nguyen has successfully transitioned to jujitsu and now boasts a collection of over 70 medals from both domestic and international competitions.
The remaining gold medals went to Tran Hong An (women's 57kg), Nguyen Thi Le (women's 48kg), and Dao Hong Son (men's 56kg). Notably, Dao Hong Son continued to assert his top position by dominating the competition to win the championship after a rigorous weight-cutting process.
In addition to the 6 gold medals, the Vietnamese team also won 2 bronze medals thanks to the efforts of Vuong Tran Hoai Thuong and Tran Viet Hoan.
This outstanding achievement demonstrates the strong development of Vietnamese jujitsu in the full-contact category – one of the most demanding and competitive disciplines in this martial art.
The 2026 World Full-Contact Jujitsu Championships took place from May 14th to 17th, bringing together approximately 250 fighters from 16 countries and territories.
