According to Cope , Mourinho wants Real Madrid to spend around 50 million euros to bring Hjulmand to the Bernabeu this summer. The Danish midfielder is highly regarded for his tackling ability, midfield control, and leadership qualities. These are the qualities that "The Special One" believes fit his plan to rebuild the Royal team.
Sporting coach Rui Borges was not surprised by Real Madrid's interest in his player. He affirmed that Hjulmand has proven his class through several excellent seasons in Portugal and that being pursued by "Los Blancos" is entirely deserved.
