Connecting outputs from the collective economy .
Starting with a model of raising bamboo rats, the family of Ms. Dang Thi Thanh, in Hamlet 3, Dak Rve Commune, has expanded their herd to nearly 200 pairs. By joining the bamboo rat farming cooperative, she not only receives technical and experience support but also finds it easier to sell her products. The linkage between farming households helps reduce risks and creates collective strength in finding markets.
In the processing sector, the Hoa Nam Agricultural and Service Cooperative, with 35 members, mostly ethnic minority households, is organizing the purchase and processing of coffee and other agricultural products. The development of OCOP products has contributed to standardizing production processes, improving quality, and expanding consumer markets.
Currently, Dak Rve commune has 5 cooperative groups and 6 cooperatives operating in the fields of agriculture and services. These models are gradually connecting people to the production chain, from raw materials to processing and product consumption.
Compared to the previous fragmented and small-scale production, the collective economy has created a relatively complete supply chain, promoting the application of science and technology and increasing the value of agricultural products. This has contributed to motivating people to maintain and expand production towards a market-oriented approach, fostering sustainable economic development in the locality.
