
On January 12th, at the Fine Arts Exhibition House (16 Ngo Quyen Street, Hanoi ), the "Colors of Friendship" exhibition officially opened, showcasing 69 works by Vietnamese and Korean artists to the public.
The event was organized by the UNESCO Center for Fine Arts in Hanoi in collaboration with the Korean Association for International Art Exchange.
Participating in the exhibition, Vietnamese artists brought approximately 50 works reflecting the rich face of contemporary art, expressed in various materials such as lacquer, silk, acrylic, oil paint… Notable works include: "Sky Blue", "Mountain Region", "White Autumn", "End of Day", "Old Moon", "Mustard Flower Season", "Thai Girl", "Spring in the Village", "Stone Flower"... vividly depicting the beauty of nature, the country and the people of Vietnam, while also demonstrating exploration and innovation in creative thinking.
Korean artists including Park Yeon Hee, Lee Hyang Jae, Jeong Huyn Ja, Yoo Young Kwae, and others presented nearly 20 paintings using a variety of materials such as watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and mixed media. Each work bore a distinct personal touch while remaining harmonious within the overall exhibition.
Works such as "Newlyweds," "Victory," "Family Outing 1-3," "Knowledge and Life," "The Story of Five Mountains," "Spring," "Humans in the Universe," etc., demonstrate modern artistic thinking with tight compositions, subtle color tones, inheriting the spirit of Eastern painting, and emphasizing the harmony between humans and nature.
The exhibition is open from now until January 18th.
