End of traffic ban on Tran Phu bridge

The Department of Construction has just issued a document announcing the end of the ban on vehicles and traffic diversion across Tran Phu Bridge.

Previously, on November 27, the Department of Construction announced a ban on vehicles traveling through Tran Phu Bridge during the repair and remediation of the bridge pier landslide caused by the impact of rain and floods. After the repair period, the Department of Construction inspected the site, based on the assessment and testing of the design consultant, the project has now ensured safety and is qualified to be put back into operation. Therefore, the Department of Construction announced the end of the ban on vehicles traveling and traffic diversion through Tran Phu Bridge from 0:00 on December 9.

Tran Phu Bridge traffic returns to normal

It is known that due to prolonged heavy rain and strong waves, the embankment at the foot of Tran Phu Bridge has collapsed, concrete blocks have slid into the sea with a length of more than 10m, a width of more than 5m, exposing the bridge abutment. Immediately after that, the Department of Construction requested the bridge maintenance unit to urgently clean up the collapsed concrete, restore the original state to ensure the safety of Tran Phu Bridge; at the same time, organize traffic diversion to ensure safety.
