Call for support for the poor and disadvantaged to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City has issued an open letter calling for joint efforts to support the poor and those in difficult circumstances to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Luu Kiem ward, in coordination with the City Inspectorate and VSIP Hai Phong Co., Ltd., inaugurated a "Great Solidarity" house donated to a disadvantaged family in the ward.

Over the years, the task of caring for the people during Tet (Lunar New Year), especially poor households, near-poor households, laborers, and people with particularly difficult circumstances in Hai Phong city, has always been a responsible and caring concern shared by the entire political system and the community.

However, the city currently has 1,693 poor households and nearly 13,000 near-poor households facing many difficulties and in need of collective support.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City calls on all cadres, Party members, civil servants, employees, and people of all walks of life in the city to uphold the tradition of "Helping those in need," and to respond to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind" to support the city's particularly disadvantaged people so that they can celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse) in a complete, warm, and fulfilling manner.

All donated funds will be received, managed, and distributed publicly, transparently, and to the correct recipients by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
