How to "please incoming customers and satisfy outgoing customers?" is the concern of many service establishments with this new customer stream.
Russian guests like to "feel welcomed like home"
Providing information about the travel habits of Russian and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) tourists on November 12 at the Russian market promotion program, Anex Vietnam Company - a unit specializing in Russian tourists, said that tourists especially value friendliness, attentive service and the feeling of being "welcome like at home".
These are key factors that determine the rate of Russian tourists returning to their destination in the following tourist seasons.
By 2026, Anex Vietnam will bring a total of 72,000 visitors from Russia and the CIS to Da Nang. This is the starting signal for the boom of this relatively new tourist stream in the Central region.
On average, each year, Russian visitors to Da Nang account for about 5% of total international visitors.

To take good care of Russian guests, Anex Vietnam recommends that hotels and service providers need to equip signs, menus, and service information in Russian; and train receptionists and restaurant staff to have basic communication skills in Russian.
In addition, it is necessary to add Russian TV channels and dishes to the buffet menu, and organize Vietnamese-Russian cultural exchange activities to create a friendly and close atmosphere for tourists.
Average stay of Russian guests is up to 10 days
Research from the Russian tourist market shows that this group of tourists is considered much more "easygoing" than those from other countries.
Russian tourists love the sea, travel on vacation and are very willing to spend. The average length of stay for Russian tourists on charter tours is 10 days.
Russian tourists' decisions on choosing destinations and hotels are influenced by factors such as beaches and sunny, safe climate; reasonable prices, rich local cultural experiences, convenient air connections, etc.
To sell and maintain a stable flow of guests, hotels need to apply appropriate pricing policies for long-stay charter guests, implement early booking incentives, and combine them with promotional campaigns according to Russia's festive seasons.

Accommodation facilities also need to maintain consistent service quality, develop more entertainment activities and in-house experiences to increase visitor satisfaction and spending.
International travel agencies believe that Da Nang has many outstanding advantages that are very suitable for developing the Russian charter market, especially the harmonious combination of beach resorts, culture, and modern tourism infrastructure.
Da Nang is also the central gateway of the Central region, easily connecting to destinations loved by Russian tourists such as Hoi An, Ba Na Hills, Hue , My Son...
In addition, the modern international airport and coastal accommodation system meet the needs of Russian charter guests.
To welcome more Russian visitors, the units said that the Da Nang tourism industry needs a unified communication strategy.
Creating Russian-friendly products and the cooperation of all parties in positioning Da Nang as "Vietnam's central destination - combining beach resorts, heritage and cultural experiences".
