Currently, many tours offering experiences related to the traditional Lunar New Year are being offered by tourism businesses in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting a large number of international tourists.

In early February, more than 70 Polish tourists had the opportunity to participate in a series of activities celebrating the traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year in Dong Thap (formerly Tien Giang province).

Organized by Vietluxtour Company, the program is themed "Westerners Celebrating Tet in the Mekong Delta." This journey allows tourists to fully experience the rustic and simple flavors of the Southern Tet holiday, with a focus on combining healing ecotourism and hands-on cultural experiences.

International tourists capture moments while participating in activities experiencing the traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

Instead of visiting familiar tourist attractions, international visitors directly participate in activities such as wrapping banh tet (Vietnamese sticky rice cake) and making coconut jam to gain a better understanding of Vietnamese culture.

Holding a homemade banh tet (Vietnamese sticky rice cake) in his hands, Mr. Miroslaw Borek (a Polish tourist) said this was his first time in Vietnam. "The Vietnamese Lunar New Year has many activities and customs, so for international tourists, some things can be a little difficult to fully understand. However, I truly enjoyed this experience and was impressed with how people decorate for Tet. Vietnamese Tet culture is very unique and distinctive," Mr. Miroslaw shared.

International visitors enthusiastically request calligraphy blessings at the beginning of the new year and learn about the traditional Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) culture.

Calligraphy artwork has become a meaningful gift for international tourists to take home after their trip to Vietnam during the Tet holiday.

According to Mr. Tran The Dung, General Director of Vietluxtour Company, anticipating the trend of local and sustainable tourism, products rich in cultural value such as the "Foreigners Celebrating Tet in the Mekong Delta" tour will create a long-term competitive advantage for Vietnamese tourism.
