On New Year's Eve 2026 (Year of the Horse), tourists from many countries such as the UK, France, the US, and the Netherlands flocked to the center of Ho Chi Minh City to enjoy the Lunar New Year atmosphere. They shared their impressions of the Vietnamese New Year and sent New Year's greetings to the Vietnamese people.

Traveling from the Netherlands to Ho Chi Minh City during the Lunar New Year, Kevin and Querine sat on Nguyen Hue flower street, sipping Vietnamese beer and chatting, enjoying the New Year atmosphere in Vietnam. Kevin said that this was his first time celebrating Tet in Vietnam, and he was incredibly impressed by the wonderful atmosphere; everywhere he went, people were wishing each other a Happy New Year. "The traditional ao dai dress and the vibrant flowers are what impressed us most these past few days," the couple shared.
