Opening of the 10th Congress of the Binh Duong Provincial Front

Attending the congress, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, there were Mr. Vo Van Thien, Head of the Southern Working Committee and Ms. Nguyen Quynh Lien, Head of the Committee for Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism. Local leaders included Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Provincial Party Committee member, National Assembly delegate, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh said that this Congress has the task of assessing the situation of the Great National Unity bloc, the people of all walks of life in the province and the results of implementing the 5 Action Programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province in the past term.

Central and Binh Duong provincial leaders attended the congress.

At the same time, evaluate the advantages, limitations and draw lessons, agree on the goals, tasks, solutions, and Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province for the term 2024-2029.

Delegates representing all walks of life, ethnic groups and religions in the province attended the congress.

The Congress also contributed ideas to the draft of the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; consulted on personnel, elected the new term Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in the direction of expanding the gathering of typical individuals, representing classes, strata, ethnicities, religions, intellectuals, and non-Party members; ensuring comprehensiveness, representativeness and practicality so that the 10th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has the capacity to well implement the Resolution of the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, new term...
