The opening ceremony was attended by leaders from the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ; the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; UNESCO; as well as leaders from Sovico Group, Phu Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company, Keppel, and a large number of local people and tourists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs , emphasized the significance of Home Hanoi Xuan as a cultural space rich in identity, contributing to connecting the overseas Vietnamese community with their homeland through the traditional values of the Vietnamese Tet holiday.
He highly appreciated the efforts of Phu Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company - the organizer of the flower street - in maintaining and developing the Home Hanoi Xuan program over the years, with a spirit of respecting traditional values while constantly innovating to suit modern life.

Over six seasons, Home Hanoi Xuan has gradually taken shape as a cultural festival with a continuous legacy and development, aligned with Phu Long's long-term vision of nurturing traditional cultural values in a modern urban context, and progressively becoming a community cultural gathering place every Lunar New Year.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Richard Mark Leech, Deputy General Director of Phu Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company, emphasized that Home Hanoi Xuan has become a community cultural space where tradition and the future meet, where each spring leaves behind beautiful memories and lasting values.
Through the Home Hanoi Xuan Flower Street, Phu Long commits to continuing its partnership with Hanoi City in nurturing vibrant community cultural spaces, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of society and spreading positive, humane values.

A special highlight of the Opening Ceremony was the awarding of the UNESCO Certificate, recognizing Home Hanoi Xuan as a model initiative within the framework of the UNESCO-SOVICO Partnership, contributing to promoting Hanoi's Vision and Action Plan as a UNESCO Creative City.
UNESCO's recognition affirms the value and significance of Home Hanoi Xuan in the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values; it also serves as a motivation for Phu Long to continue steadfastly pursuing its direction of creating cultural spaces that are rich in identity, sustainable, and humane, making a positive contribution to the spiritual life of the community and the capital city of Hanoi.

With the theme "Auspicious Horse Soaring Through Spring," the Flower Street chooses the image of the horse – a symbol of strength, perseverance, and aspiration in East Asian culture – as its central creative theme. The image of the auspicious horse guides the story of spring through layers of concepts of creation, prosperity, and spreading blessings, reflecting the continuous movement of time and the breakthrough spirit of Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital, in its contemporary urban landscape. Through this, the event conveys wishes for good fortune at the beginning of spring, opening up hope for a prosperous, flourishing, and thriving new year.

The Home Hanoi Xuan 2026 flower street will take place from February 7th to February 22nd, 2026 (corresponding to the 20th day of the 12th lunar month to the 6th day of the Lunar New Year of the Horse), with free admission. It will feature various exhibition spaces, artistic displays, cultural and artistic activities, and traditional folk games, serving locals and tourists throughout the Tet holiday.

With its ever-expanding scale, constantly updated content, and recognition from UNESCO, Home Hanoi Xuan 2026 continues to affirm its role as a cultural highlight of spring in Hanoi, contributing to spreading the essence of Vietnamese Tet heritage in contemporary life. Notably, this year, the Vietnam National UNESCO Committee has once again chosen the Home Hanoi Xuan cultural space to host its conference summarizing the work of 2025 and outlining the direction of activities for 2026.
