The event was organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, attracting more than 500 delegates representing leaders of Ho Chi Minh City's departments, branches, and sectors; leaders of universities, colleges, etc.
The seminar had more than 100 quality and dedicated presentations and comments sent to the Organizing Committee from educational institutions, demonstrating the deep interest of managers, scientists, and lecturers in the work of political education innovation.
Taking place over 2 days (November 25 and 26), the seminar is divided into 2 specialized working sessions for universities (November 25) and colleges (November 26).
The new point in the organization this time is the combination of presenting keynote speeches and sessions raising in-depth discussion issues and expanding exchanges.
At the seminar, delegates said: "Fundamental and comprehensive innovation of political theory programs and textbooks to meet the requirements of improving the quality and effectiveness of education in the new situation" is a very important task and has strategic significance in the development of education and training in the country.
During the working session on November 25, delegates focused on analyzing and clarifying urgent issues from the current practice of political theory education.
Many essays delve into solutions to integrate new knowledge about artificial intelligence, digital economy and social issues into lectures, and innovate testing and assessment methods towards developing learners' thinking and critical thinking abilities.
In addition, university representatives also proposed specific recommendations on mechanisms and remuneration policies to standardize and improve the quality of teaching staff in the context of university autonomy.
