Opening of Quynh Nhai District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week 2025

On the evening of February 7, Quynh Nhai district held the opening ceremony of the District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week 2025. Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Trang Thi Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province; representatives of leaders of a number of districts and towns of Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Cao Bang provinces; comrades who were former district leaders through the periods, along with a large number of people of all ethnic groups, tourists inside and outside the province.

Quynh Nhai District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week takes place from February 7 to 9, is a combination of many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities such as: Traditional boat racing festival; cultural space of ethnic groups, introducing cultural products, tourism, local products and typical OCOP products; Da River fish market; Quynh Nhai tourism photo exhibition; Kapok flower festival by the river; ethnic costume performance contest; sports competitions; experiencing traditional games; experiencing sightseeing, sightseeing, spiritual cultural tourism, historical cultural tourism, eco-tourism of Da River reservoir...

At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 32 works of the authors who won the Artistic Photography Contest with the theme "Quynh Nhai - Son La affirms its potential and develops tourism".

Immediately after the opening ceremony, a special art program took place, consisting of two chapters: chapter I with the theme "Quynh Nhai - Legendary Countryside" and chapter II with the theme "Quynh Nhai - Illuminating Heritage Land". With elaborately staged and artistically creative singing, dancing and music performances, praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, celebrating the new spring and love for the homeland and country. The program created an overall picture of the new life in Quynh Nhai, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to enter the new year 2025 with the great goal of building Quynh Nhai district to meet new rural standards./.
