Attending the ceremony were comrades: former General Secretary, former Chairman of the National Assembly Nong Duc Manh; Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, Head of the Steering Committee for the 80th Anniversary of the National Assembly of Vietnam; former Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Sinh Hung; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien, Head of the Organizing Committee for the 80th Anniversary of the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026)...

According to the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh, the Vietnam National Assembly Museum has an area of 800m², displaying and introducing nearly 1,000 images, documents, 250 typical artifacts such as: the Constitution collection, National Assembly badges of all terms, seals of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the red flag with a yellow star hung at the Tan Trao National Congress in 1945, the ballot box for the election of the first National Assembly in 1946, the light sculpture "The Power of the People's Heart" donated by artisan Bui Van Tu...

“The Vietnam National Assembly Museum is a “memory bank” that preserves precious spiritual values, reflecting the 80-year journey of overcoming difficulties and constant innovation, affirming that the National Assembly is the highest representative body of the people, the highest state power body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The establishment of the Museum is an important milestone, affirming the efforts to preserve and promote the historical values of the Vietnam National Assembly,” Comrade Le Quang Manh emphasized.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the National Assembly Office continued to innovate the exhibition work, strengthen the conditions to ensure the museum's operations, build and innovate the operation and sightseeing work... so that the Vietnam National Assembly Museum can truly become an educational and inspirational space, becoming one of the bridges for the public, the young generation and international friends to pay attention and better understand the Vietnam National Assembly in the historical process of the nation.

The National Assembly Office will also promote books, publications, and stamp sets, contributing to affirming the glorious 80-year journey of the Vietnamese National Assembly - a vivid testament to the spirit of innovation, creativity, responsibility, aspiration to rise up, and determination to build the Vietnamese National Assembly to operate more and more effectively and efficiently, worthy of the country's development in the new era.

At the event, the works "Vietnam National Assembly: 80 years of construction, innovation and development"; History of the Vietnam National Assembly, volume V (2011 - 2025); "50 years of relations between the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the National Assembly of the Lao PDR - Cooperation and development"; bilingual photo book "80 years of the Vietnam National Assembly (1946 - 2026)" and the postage stamp set commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam National Assembly were also solemnly introduced.
