Opening Ceremony of the Cultural and Sports Center and the Commemoration of the Vietnamese Tet Festival in An Khe Ward 2026

DNO - On February 8th, the People's Committee of An Khe ward inaugurated the ward's Cultural and Sports Center, located at 109 Le Trong Tan Street.

Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2025, be completed in December 2025, and be handed over for use from the beginning of 2026.

The project includes the following components: a two-story multi-purpose building with a construction area of ​​735m² and a total floor area of ​​1,400m².

The single-story administrative building has a construction area of ​​66m². The outdoor stage covers 92m², combined with a central multi-purpose area and internal roads connecting the entire complex.

The center features a comprehensive system of fences, gates, guard houses, parking areas, and technical infrastructure. Additionally, it includes an artificial football field, recreational and fitness equipment, and lighting.

The total construction cost was 11.01 billion VND. The completed project contributes to better serving the recreational needs and creating a shared living space for residents in the ward.

On the same day, the Vietnamese Tet Festival - Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse 2026 of An Khe Ward was inaugurated at the Cultural and Sports Center of the ward.

This year's Vietnamese Tet Festival features 27 stalls showcasing traditional crafts, startup products, OCOP products, an agricultural market, and consumer connections, attracting visitors for sightseeing and shopping.

The festival featured many activities such as a traditional rural market, calligraphers writing auspicious characters, folk games, the "Green Sticky Rice Cake - Loving Tet" festival, a cultural program "Greeting the Year of the Horse 2026", and a Tet costume show...

On this occasion, An Khe ward presented Tet gifts to more than 40 disadvantaged households in the ward. Each gift package included cash and essential necessities, helping people have a warmer Tet holiday.
