At Border Guard Squadron 2, units held a ceremony to review the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Armed Forces of Military Region 9. Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented 100 gifts to policy families, poor households and students in difficult circumstances.
The gifts not only help people reduce difficulties in life, but also demonstrate the affection and responsibility of agencies and units towards the community; at the same time, contribute to tightening the military-civilian relationship, consolidating the close relationship between the border guards and local people.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Dong, Captain of Border Guard Squadron 2 and Ms. Khuong Kim Hoang, Secretary of Hiep Thanh Ward Youth Union, presented gifts to students who overcame difficulties and loved to study.
Along with gratitude and social security support activities, the Youth Union of Bac Lieu General Hospital coordinated with the Ca Mau Student Association (Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy) to organize medical examinations, health consultations and free medicine distribution for people.
The team of doctors, nurses and medical students enthusiastically checked the health, gave nutritional guidance and ways to prevent common diseases, especially chronic diseases in the elderly. The total value of gifts and free medicines was about 70 million VND.
