
The Tale of Kieu tells the story of Thuy Kieu, a beautiful and talented girl who experienced many hardships.
The work not only has humanistic and humanistic values but also preserves the national spirit, becoming a deep mark in Vietnamese culture. Scholar Pham Quynh once commented: " As long as the Tale of Kieu remains, our language remains, our country remains."

Painter Nguyen Cong Hoan is famous for his unique classical color-mixing style. Over the course of more than 2 years, he meticulously painted each picture on thin paper with the main tones of yellow and green, depicting important scenes: Thuy Kieu and Thuy Van playing the zither, going to Thanh Minh festival, meeting Kim Trong...
Some paintings have to be drawn in many versions and edited many times to achieve visual effect and the spirit of the story.
