When mentioning Ninh Binh, many tourists immediately think of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trang An impresses with its system of towering limestone mountains, interspersed with water-filled valleys and caves. The water here remains emerald green year-round, reflecting the mountains and creating a majestic yet poetic landscape. The area also boasts numerous sacred temples and shrines steeped in history, adding cultural depth to visitors' explorations.

Not far from Trang An is the Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area, often described as the "Ha Long Bay on land." Summer is also the time when the rice fields along the river turn a golden yellow, creating a beautiful scene that attracts many tourists and photographers. The journey of rowing boats through the cool caves and admiring the majestic mountains offers a relaxing feeling amidst nature.

An exciting and new destination in Ninh Binh, Thung Ui is becoming a favorite among young people due to its pristine beauty. Located in Tay Hoa Lu ward, about 2km from Bai Dinh Pagoda, this secluded valley, surrounded by towering limestone mountains and a system of natural lakes, boasts a pristine, tranquil beauty and rich scenic value.

Besides the natural scenery, tourists can also visit famous spiritual tourist destinations such as Tam Chuc Pagoda, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Tran Temple, Phu Day Temple, etc.
Beach tourism and exciting summer experiences.
Besides its mountainous landscapes, Ninh Binh also boasts many attractive coastal destinations for summer. After the merger, the province now possesses a coastline of approximately 92km, with many outstanding potentials, including beaches, coastal ecological zones, and a rich mangrove forest ecosystem.
Among them, Thinh Long beach in Hai Thinh commune is one of the places that attracts many tourists thanks to its long sandy beach, spacious surroundings, pristine beauty, and abundant seafood. During the summer months, it becomes bustling with recreational activities, swimming, and enjoying local specialties.

Not far from Thinh Long beach is the ruined church in Hai Tien commune – a familiar check-in spot for many tourists. The structure boasts an ancient beauty, situated amidst the windy sea, creating a scene that is both nostalgic and unique. Every time the sun sets, the place becomes even more impressive, attracting many visitors to come and take photos.

If you love nature and mangrove ecosystems, you can visit Xuan Thuy National Park. This is Vietnam's first Ramsar site, home to high biodiversity with hundreds of species of waterbirds, including many rare, endangered, and globally valuable species. Taking a boat ride through the mangrove forest, admiring the mudflats, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere is a delightful experience for those who want to reconnect with nature.
Ready to open Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026
With the theme "Ninh Binh - A Journey of Heritage Through the Ages," Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 is expected to create a highlight in promoting the image of the ancient capital region, the Trang An heritage site, and the unique tourism products of the locality.
According to the plan, this year's event will feature many notable activities such as the Tam Coc Golden Festival at the Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area; the Trang An Creative Music Festival; the Yosakoi Festival; the Ninh Binh Beach Tourism Festival 2026; the "Tam Coc Golden Season" photography tour, along with many traditional cultural and artistic experience programs.
The highlight of the Tourism Week is the opening ceremony held on the evening of May 23rd at Dinh Tien Hoang Square, Hoa Lu Ward. The art program, themed "A Thousand-Year-Old Artwork," features nearly 200 actors and artists, promising a unique cultural experience for locals and tourists alike.
Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism and Head of the Organizing Committee for Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026, said that preparations are basically on schedule. Plans for the opening ceremony, welcoming delegates, logistics, security, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, and environmental sanitation have been implemented by relevant units.
